The Greenhouse Innovation Consortium (GIC) is inviting the horticulture sector to contribute to a public consultation on the UK Greenhouse Modernisation and Expansion Programme (UK-GMEP).
The GIC is seeking practical input from growers, suppliers, manufacturers, technology providers, investors, researchers and others working across horticulture and its wider supply chain.
Dr Sven Batke, Chair of the Greenhouse Innovation Consortium, said: “We do not expect everyone to agree with everything in a document of this scale. In fact, identifying where the sector disagrees with us is extremely useful. What matters now is that we have enough evidence to understand what should be retained, what needs changing and what may be missing altogether.”
The consultation is open until 30 November 2026 and should take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
