Membership is designed for horticulturists with high level qualifications and or extended experience in the industry.
Membership is £117 for the year. Your membership to the Chartered Institute of Horticulture gives you access to the only community in the industry with members from every aspect of horticulture. We are the professional voice for horticulture, join and grow your career with us.
Do I qualify to be a Member?
To become a Member you require a minimum of 12 points from a combination of academic and/or work experience. Your highest level of qualification is combined with your experience of working within the industry to create this total. Every year spent working in the industry equates to one point, half points are awarded to periods of 6 months. Please have a look over our membership criteria and supporting documentation before applying.
How do I become a Member?
All you need to do is click apply now and fill on our online application form. Your application will be processed within 5 working days. If you have been successful in your application we will then email you to arrange payment and your certificate and membership card will then be posted to you.
