Awards

We present awards for achievement and praise dedication in both education and business within horticulture whenever possible.

Throughout the year we present awards to deserving organisations and individuals alike to show our appreciation for their commitment to their work and ultimately the future of our industry. From dedicated students to innovative projects and extraordinary individuals, if you know of someone deserving recognition, make sure they get the appreciation they deserve and enter them for our awards below.

President’s Award

Handpicked for their outstanding contribution to horticulture.

Norah Stucken Award

For projects which have made a significant impact within horticulture.

Student Awards

For students who have shown outstanding dedication to their horticultural studies.

The CIH Award

Held by only 50 horticulturists at one time for their significant contribution to horticulture.

Aberconway Award

For the best annually submitted horticultural dissertation.

James Bruce Award

For the highest score in the RHS Diploma in Horticulture Practical Examination.

For anyone under 30 the YHoY competition is a fantastic opportunity to explore an interest in horticulture, test their knowledge and get the opportunity to network with horticultural enthusiasts all over the UK and Ireland. We meet thousands of horticulturists every year as they battle their way through three challenging rounds. The prize is a £2500 travel bursary, so let’s give young horticulturists the chance to go on a trip of a lifetime!
