The Trade and Agriculture Commission has launched a call for evidence and is seeking submissions on whether provisions in the UK-India Free Trade Agreement that relate to trade in agricultural products may affect the maintenance of UK regulatory standards in relation to: animal or plant life or health, animal welfare and environmental protection. The TAC are seeking submissions regarding differences between the relevant standards applicable to activities in India and the UK. The deadline is midday on 31 August.
