We’re delighted to announce that Lauren Moore, Askham Bryan College is the winner of the Young Horticulturist of the Year – Northern Regional Final, held at Thorp Perrow Arboretum!
Lauren will go on to represent the Northern region at the Young Horticulturist of the Year Grand Final later this year.
A huge well done to all competitors who took part in a fantastic regional heat, showcasing the depth of talent within the next generation of horticultural professionals.
Runners-up on the day were:
Isaac Rice from Sledmere House, Conor Donaldson, Holly Booty, Jess Arundell, Will Bragg and Sam Walker from RHS Harlow Carr, Ben Blake from Askham Bryan College.
