A reminder that the Chartered Institute of Horticulture entry deadlines for the Aberconway and Pam Pointer Awards for 2025 have been extended to 30 June 2025. If you’ve yet to submit an entry, now is the time! Entries for the Norah Stucken award remain open.
The Pam Pointer award: awarded to a student of Horticulture in recognition of outstanding achievement in academic and practical pursuits:
- Sponsored attendance at a CIH event
- 1-year free Associate Membership
One application per college/institution a year. We award up to 4 students of horticulture from level 3 (or equivalent).
The Aberconway award: £500 prize for the best horticultural dissertation by students or horticulturists. Entries should take the form of a 10,000 word written thesis/dissertation/project on a horticultural subject which has been completed in the last 5 years.
The Norah Stucken award: for projects which have made a significant impact within horticulture. Awarding £500 to the successful project that makes a positive impact on our horticultural industry.
