The Regional Final for the Eastern Branch of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture Young Horticulturist of the Year 2020 competition is scheduled to take place on Saturday 4th April. A fantastic location for horticulture, this year’s event will be held at East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens – a 32-acre exotic coastal garden in Norfolk.

Once again, we are delighted to have our main sponsor of Cherry Lane Garden Centres supporting this event. We are also supported by Bulldog Tools. Without their continued support and our national sponsors, the Percy Thrower Trust  / Shropshire Horticultural Society (www.shrewsburyflowershow.org.uk), the competition would not go ahead.

Coffee and biscuits will be served at 10.30AM with the competition starting at 11.00AM followed by a light buffet lunch and a short, guided, tour of the main garden areas.

If you are able to attend the Regional Final, can you please confirm with the Branch directly: eastern@horticulture.org.uk by March 27th at the latest, with any dietary requirements, so that they can ensure catering and seating are provided.
