Professor Matthew Dickinson, the President of the BSPP, invites you to register for Plant Pathology 2025 (#PPATH2025) and Early Careers Plant Pathology 2025 (#ECPP2025), the main annual meetings of the British Society for Plant Pathology. The meetings will be held on the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham, UK, Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th September. Accommodation is provided from Monday 8th September allowing a prompt start on Tuesday 9th September.

Tuesday 9th September will feature two events; the #ECPP2025 meeting with open sessions featuring talks from ECRs, selected from the abstracts. A parallel session, co-organised with the AAB, and led by Dr James Fortune and Professor Rumiana Ray, will focus on Applied Plant Pathology in British Agriculture. This session will feature presentations tackling current issues affecting practical crop protection in the UK.

Wednesday 10th September will feature presentations from invited speakers, offered paper sessions, the PH Gregory Prize session and posters including the J Colhoun Poster Prize.

The morning of Thursday 11th September will be split between two parallel sessions;

  1. Artificial Intelligence Revolution in Plant Health organised by Prof. Adam Kleczkowski
  2. Induced Resistance and its role in enhancing plant health within the framework of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) organised by Dr Rosa Sanchez-Lucas

The meeting will conclude around 4pm with the RKS Wood prize lecture, other presentations from invited speakers, offered papers and the announcement of prize winners.
