Following on from the education committee open meeting on 26th July, enclosed are the terms of reference for the committee, link to application to join the group and for those who are not yet members of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture (CIH), membership details.

Please express your interest to join the education core interest group and apply by (end of play) 24th August 2022.

The plan is to set up a steering group to initially scope out the next year’s priorities, following this, set up working groups to progress the project(s).

It would be helpful to include concise details of your educational interest and specialism in this application, this will assist us to shape groups and match skill sets.

Membership details:

To become an Associate Member of the CIH an individual requires 5-11 units, a Member 12 units.  This can be made up from a combination of qualifications and work experience.  You are awarded one unit for every year of relevant work experience.  Your highest qualification counts towards your qualifying units, not a cumulation of all the qualifications you hold.
