The Eden Project has established itself as a major horticultural visitor attraction. Its unique Biomes link plants and their uses from all over the world. It is a strong promoter of sustainable practices and the links between plants and well being.

The grounds and gardens linking the Biomes are an example of how old mine workings can be given a new life. Eden is a significant employer in the area and contributes positively to the local economy all year round, through indoor and outdoor venues that are also used for concerts and other promotional activity. Food grown is used in the retail outlets and it also has an educational role in promoting the value of Horticulture and associated sciences.

We are pleased to confirm that members of the Eden project team will be meeting CIH members and their guest to provide an insider view of the wonderful Biomes, followed by a unique visit to their nursery, where access is normally restricted to Eden staff only. The visits will be followed by our branch ABM, also hosted by the Eden Project.
