A rare opportunity to visit one of the leading UK growers of speciality mushrooms, supplying the likes of Tesco, Marks and Spencer and Booths. In the afternoon there will be a tour of the nearby Sintons Nurseries, a specialist pot plant nursery with 2 acres of glasshouses, growing for garden centres and the wholesale market. Places for the day are limited so booking is essential.

range of pot plants but specialise in standard and basket Fuchsias, having introduced several new varieties over the years.

10.45 Welcome & introduction by John Dorrian, owner

11.00 Tour of the site’s grow houses & packing operations.

13.15 Lunch – a buffet has been arranged at nearby Heatons Bridge Inn. Please advise of any dietary requirements upon booking your place.

14.30 Sintons Nurseries – Welcome by Robert Sinton followed by a tour of the nursery

16.00 Departure
