Kit demos & Product Tours

Product highlights at this year’s Parks & Gardens Live include kit demonstrations tailored for the parks and gardens market – as well as the opportunity to take part in Sally Drury’s Product Tours which will provide a personal introduction to the latest product solutions on offer from exhibitors and aimed specifically at solving the challenges of professionals in this market.

Exhibitors include British Sugar Topsoil , which will be showing its HortLoam enriched planting topsoil chosen by Matthew Oliver as the base panting medium for the new global Growth Vegetable Garden at RHS Garden Hyde Hall.  Meanwhile John Chambers Wildflower Seed will be showcasing a selection of wildflower seed mixes and the team will offer advice on the best mixes for specific projects.

With a background in ‘hands-on’ contracting work, Tudor Environmental, will present a selection of the vast array of products from machinery and power tools to clothing and workshop sundries available from its “one stop shop” for professionals.

Live demonstrations include the Spider 2 (ILD02) remote-controlled slope mower from Czech firm Dvorak Machine Division which can handle slopes of up to 55 degrees with its integrated winch and is commonly used for challenging work areas such as the side of moats and close to river edges.

Exhibitors also include Lubbe & Sons wholesalers of flower bulbs and perennials for open spaces who include naturalising flower bulbs, mechanised planting and perennials in their product and service range. Meanwhile manufacturer of the electricide-based professional hand-weeder, Ubiqutek returns to Parks & Gardens Live to showcase its environment-friendly solutions.

Also exhibiting and available to talk about their activities and services on offer to the parks and gardens industry will be industry charity Perennial, the Professional Gardeners Guild, the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and the Professional Garden Consultants Association.
