Foundation Degrees (FdSe or FdA)
Offered by colleges usually in association with a university. These are
usually two year courses which include a significant amount of work
experience and which may be delivered in the work place or by full or various
modes of part-time study (eg day or block release).
Entry qualifications - as HND.
Foundation degrees will usually
be linked to BSc (Hons)
or a BA(Hons) so that the full honours
degree can be obtained by one extra year of study
