Foundation Degrees (FdSe or FdA)

Offered by colleges usually in association with a university. These are usually two year courses which include a significant amount of work experience and which may be delivered in the work place or by full or various modes of part-time study (eg day or block release). Entry qualifications - as HND.

Foundation degrees will usually be linked to BSc (Hons) or a BA(Hons) so that the full honours degree can be obtained by one extra year of study
